Our “Puppet Theatre” was founded in the summer of 1979, during the Festival in the Castle S.Angelo gardens in Rome with the performance of a musical fairy tale the title of which was Alì and the Snake.
Our activities nowadays take place at museums, theatres, schools and festivals with plays for adults too featuring theatrical versions from books The Chinese’s Troubles In China, The Legend Of Magi: The Fourth King, the operetta The Geisha and short melodramas such as El Retablo de Maese Pedro and The Impresario of Canary Islands.
Furthermore, in 1990 we started the Puppet’s Theatre School for Children where the students can learn the art of puppets from the construction thru to puppetry.
The course ends with a performance organized by the students.
The scripts are written by Idalberto Fei as original tales: Lorenzino Without Fear, Angelica, the Cat and the Wolf” and the adaptations from works of important authors such as Collodi (Pipì, The Pink Young Monkey)
